As well as printed materials the library provides computer access to thousands of electronic resources and journals. The networked personal computers provide every student with email, word-processing, spreadsheet and Internet facilities. Matriculated students also have access to the facilities offered by the main campus Libraries. Books can be borrowed from the library in Glasgow and Paisley, and students at the Crichton Campus can do so in person or by means of the Crichton postal loan system.
